Project Management Office Lead (Full-time)
Location:
Hybrid working (UK only) - at least 3/days each week working in the Milton Keynes office. Some travel to end client sites may be required.
Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000
Role Description
General Duties
- Perform Programme Management Office duties in line with the approved governance framework and any existing project controls.
- Inscope projects may vary depending on Sunfish Client ("End Client") requirements and will be prioritised upon agreement with the End Client.
- At all times own and manage project approval processes in line with the End Client's policy and process.
- The End Client shall lead and manage any budget approvals and submissions for all investments.
- To provide specialist expertise and knowledge through all aspects of the Project Management Office Services to deliver value to the End Client.
- Actively identify and deliver value add project solutions through utilisation of specialist knowledge and toolsets.
- Provide clear visibility of portfolio through regular reporting and strong governance forums
- Identify project benefits and opportunities presented for action at steering board
- Improve issue and risk management with agreed plans to avoid project impact.
- Leverage financial opportunities across the portfolio e.g., shared resources, common resolutions and lessons learnt
- Create a periodic highlights report and issue to all stakeholders this needs to be templated as a Project Status Review (PSR) with RAG ratings across all project delivery measures
- Build a business change and communications approach.
- Identify and agree stakeholders.
- Deliver plan.
- Improve all PMO governance meetings drive outcome focused conversations.
- Provide leadership and support for activities to gain control and visibility of the broader project portfolio, providing accurate management reporting e.g., spend, priority, utilisation ("Demand Management")
- Provide leadership and support for activities to define functional requirements for an online PMO tool, including capturing inputs from Business Partners, Finance, and other related departments.
Salary:
£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
