Department:
Credit & Operations Team, John Deere Financial, Barnwood, Gloucester


Monday - Friday (35 hours per week, between 8.00am - 6.00pm), Hybrid flexible working available (from start date)

John Deere Financial (UK/Ireland) reports to John Deere Bank S.A.'s European headquarters in Luxembourg. This year we are celebrating a milestone of 25 years for our UK operations.

We are currently looking for a Contract Administrator to join our growing team.

The core purpose of the role is to provide a professional contact point and a high-quality service to internal and external business contacts in managing new business, customer service and collections processes.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage finance agreements throughout their lifecycle including processing changes and settlements
  • Make maintenance payments to dealers on live lease agreements.
  • Working together with business introducers to resolve outstanding processing issues.
  • Support John Deere systems (point of sale and processing) for customer service support and technical guidance to internal/external contacts.
  • Work independently to achieve and sustain productivity levels.
  • Work with the Contract Administrator team and other departments on customer service and process improvement projects
  • Proactively participate in other duties as required.

What Skills You Need:


  • 13 years of experience working in financial services/customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills (face to face, over the phone and in writing)
  • Proactive team player, positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated: effective time management, meets deadlines and targets
  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail required to audit and process contracts
  • Aptitude to learn to work with electronic credit systems is essential.
  • Ability to create trust and establish strong relationships
  • Make sound decisions using own judgement within guidelines
  • Adaptability
