Heath Advisor Responsibilities

As a Health Advisor, you will work within a team to ensure the highest standards of health assessment are delivered to our clients.

Working closely with the onsite GPs and Physiotherapists you will strive to ensure our customers receive a comprehensive and pleasant service and:

Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers
Maintain accurate client records and get involved in the end to end process
Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa's current clinical policies
Carry out clinical testing including; body composition analysis, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, diabetes and anaemia blood test markers, electrocardiograms, audiometry, functional movement screening
Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change
Ordering, safe storage and stock control of medical supplies
Maintain accurate patient records
Up to date IT skills are essential (including Word and Excel)

Salary
Starting salary £21,000 per year, increasing incrementally to £26,000 per year over 3 years upon completion of service milestones.

Specific Skills Needed

Customer facing experience essential
Experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness or medical environment would be desirable
Accuracy in information recording and management and working to clinical procedure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal
