A dynamic and innovative secondary school located in the vibrant and diverse borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a talented and dedicated Science Technician to join its team.

If you are passionate about science and want to make a positive impact on the educationof young people, this is the opportunity for you


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining and setting up laboratory equipment, materials and chemicals
  • Assisting teachers and students in conducting experiments and investigations
  • Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed in the laboratory
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies and inventory
  • Providing technical support and advice to teachers and students

Requirements:


  • A relevant sciencebased qualification (e.g. BTEC, HND, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a science laboratory setting
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to promoting safe working practices in the laboratory
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
