About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our business Lycetts Insurance Brokers in Edinburgh.


Key responsibilities
***:

  • To act as assistant to the account handling team
  • To prepare renewal schedules as directed by account handlers
  • Deal with all documentation, invoices, credit notes, etc. ensuring a smooth and troublefree renewal for the client
  • Assist with managing overdue accounts

Knowledge, skills and experience
***:

  • Good confident customer skills both written & oral
  • Good negotiating skills and the ability to build good relationships with both clients and insurers/underwriters
  • Well organised
  • Wellpresented, hardworking, proactive team player with initiative
  • Would suit someone satisfied in an officebased role and happy to work within a tight knit team

Advantageous Attributes

  • Educated to degree level or previous insurance experience (Ideally in HNW, farm or equine insurance)
  • Knowledge of Word/Excel, Open GI broking system
