Branch Manager required
We are looking for talented Branch Managers for our Basildon and Grays Branches.


My client has a variety of trade customers and familiarity with plumbing and heating brands and products would be a necessity, as would knowledge of pricing and quotations.

The role involves day to day management and operational aspects of the business:

  • staff management, customer service,
- transport, stock management, debtor management etc.


The Branch Managers Role
The Branch Manager has day to day responsibility for the efficient, profitable, and safe running of the branch.


This will include:

  • Branch Development to identify and develop potential new customers and existing customers.
  • Admin and Finance to ensure admin procedures including buying, selling, cash collection and credits are adhered to.
  • Personnel to manage all daytoday personnel matters, for guidance and action.
  • Communication to engage and communicate with all staff, feedback from management meetings, and staff matters.
  • Premises to assume responsibility for the safety, efficient operation, and security of the premises.
  • Operations to manage the daytoday operations of the branch from goods inwards, deliveries, returns, stock levels and stock takes.
  • Must have merchant experience
Other info

Negotiable Salary, +/- £33K p.a.

28 days holiday p.a.

Corporate clothing supplied.

Hours 42/week, Mon - Fri 7am-3pm/5pm Rota, (1 hour for breaks, unpaid)

Every other Saturday 8am-12pm.
