We have vacancies for two Security Officers within the Security Operations team which is part of the Facilities Division. The posts are offered on a secondment basis fo ran initial period of up to six months.

The posts are full time working an average 42 hours per week on a 24 hour, 365 days shift rotation working 12 hour day and night shifts.

The emphasis of the role is to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors at all times.

You will be a committed, friendly and be customer focused.

You will have a working knowledge of health and safety and be comfortable using your initiative whilst at the same time being a strong team player.

Flexibility and integrity are essential requirements of this demanding post in a culturally diverse campus.

You should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English, reliable with an excellent attendance record and be committed to high standards.

You should also have a willingness to undergo development training.

It is essential that you hold a full driving licence that is valid in the UK.

These positions are offered on a secondment basis for an initial period of up to six months.
