Position OverviewThe European Credit team manages investments across yield-oriented and opportunistic credit strategies.
The team is comprised of over 80 investment professionals globally focused on senior sector loans, high yield, event-driven and multi-sector credit.
Apollo is seeking an Associate to join its European Credit team to work on all stages of the investment and ongoing portfolio monitoring processes.
Qualifications & Experience- 2+ years of relevant work experience, including at least one year in investment banking or capital markets experience.
M&A, Restructuring, Equity Research and/or Leveraged Finance experience strongly preferred- Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement- Strong interest in credit investing, with an interest to focus on various sub-strategies including Performing, Opportunistic and Direct Lending.- Strong modelling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills- A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications.- A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
