GENERAL SUMMARY
To conduct the inspection of all pump component parts to the standards explained in the Bill of Materials.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Inspection and recording of component dimensions in accordance with the engineering drawings dna specifications for each pump component.
  • Recording and documenting of component deficiencies via our NCR system
  • An ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings for dimensional and visual acceptance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • An ability to use a wide variety of metrology equipment and have experience in a similar environment or industry. They should have a basic knowledge of computers and good communication skills.
  • Manufacturing experience, HS&E awareness.
  • A working knowledge of CMM's, ie FARO, Ferranti, CMM along with an understanding of NDE processes and qualifications including ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) Inspection certificates Level 1 & 2 and PCN Level
  • Visual Inspection for welding would be an advantage.
