_Macildowie Recruitment and Retention_ have partnered with a market-leader within the pharmaceutical sector. Our client are now looking to add some firepower to their growing team in Burton.


This role will suit:

  • Working alongside internal stakeholders production/sales/marketing.

Headlines:


  • Rapidly growing company.
  • 75k80k salary + car.
  • 3 days office, 2 days home.
  • Flexible working around core hours of 8:30am 4:30pm.

The Role:


  • Responsible for all sourcing activity.
  • Overseeing direct and indirect spend.
  • Working closely alongside the production team.
  • Lead on strategic procurement for the business.
  • Onboarding new suppliers, and developing lasting relationships with current suppliers.
  • Continuously looking for new ways to source key commodities.
  • Compile, understand and interpret data which pertains to departmental performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.

Technical Competencies:


  • Has 4/5+ years experience managing a procurement function.
  • Experience of working within Pharma, preferable not essential.
  • MCIPS, desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing, cando attitude.
