Field Service Engineer

Location:
East London / Essex / Kent

Salary:
£30,000 to £40,000 per annum DOE + Company Vehicle

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Servicing & maintaining ophthalmic optical instrumentation.
Carry out inspections, making reports and recommendations as necessary.
Performing scheduled maintenance on all aspects of the optical systems.
Record and maintain existing servicing records as required.
Repair & replace of components.
Performing operational and functional tests of equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a medical environment (ophthalmic experience would be preferable).
Strong IT knowledge and experience.
Electromechanical skills.
The ability to work independently in a fieldbased role.
Excellent customer service skills with a 'first time fix' mentality.
UK Driving Licence is a necessity.
