We are excited to open this opportunity for a
Strategy Development Director, Electric Vehicles (Europe).
Given the highly collaborative nature of the role, work will be conducted primarily from the Egham office. Work-from-home arrangements and flexible hours can also be considered with manager approval.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the North America Strategy Development team to share unique regional requirement and market conditions and collaborate on aligning global viewpoints, company goals and objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and executive leadership across EHI's European lines of business, including UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland and France, including functional leads to develop and refine electric vehicle strategy.
  • Research, assess and present business requirements relative to the strategic fit and relevance of third parties to support EV strategy and execution among EHI's lines of business.
  • Develop extensive external networking with partners such as vehicle manufacturers, local, regional and national governments and policy makers, trade organizations, electric utilities, infrastructure companies and emerging technology providers.
  • Work collaboratively with Property Development & Facilities and other internal teams to support the deployment of charging infrastructure supporting Enterprise's field locations and business requirements.
  • Develop and present Enterprise's thought leadership and policy positions in meetings, conferences and other forums for internal and external audiences. Support lobbying efforts on behalf of the company and shape changes to both policy and funding mechanisms.
  • Work with multiple internal departments to both share and garner knowledge.
  • Domestic and international travel within Europe, and less frequently, to the U.S., will be required for conferences, meetings, sales calls and training.

Qualifications:


  • Experience leading initiatives crossfunctionally, working successfully in large, complex organizations and leading change efforts is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to and partner with executive leadership teams.
  • Extensive experience and established network within the electric mobility ecosystem, including zeroemission vehicles, charging infrastructure and the utility/energy landscape with deep understanding of transportation electrification and its market players,trends, and evolving technology.
  • Technical understanding of EV charging infrastructure development, including common use cases, required equipment, functional capabilities across the range of EVSE available in the market, basic installation considerations and operations best practices.
  • Full UK drivers licence and ability to travel to Europe and U.S.
  • Spoken and written fluency in German is preferred but not essential.
