Position


This role will support video growth across both the Our Media Agency and our consumer brands, including Countryfile, Gathered, Science Focus, and YourHomestyle.

This hybrid role requires someone who is comfortable presenting in front of a camera, possesses exceptional videography skills, and has the ability to create engaging videos from concept to delivery.


You'll be comfortable self-shooting in a studio and coming up with video content ideas and series for our brands across digital channels including website, YouTube and social media.

You will also be involved in the entire creative process, from concept and storyboarding to editing the final product.

A desirable skill for this role is self-motivation, as you will be working independently on various projects as well as with the team on larger projects.

This role is offered on a full or part-time basis, 4 or 5 days a week.

Requirements:


Essential:


  • Experience in presenting or hosting content in front of the camera, such as hosting interviews, instructional videos, or vlogs.
  • Proficiency in using professionalgrade camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio gear.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Excellent oncamera presentation skills, with the ability to deliver content confidently and engagingly.
  • Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, YouTube, and online video trends.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred:


  • Basic graphic design skills for creating custom titles, lower thirds, and motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to video content optimization techniques for video platforms, including metadata, captions, and tags.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track and measure the performance of video content.
  • Experience with live streaming and broadcasting technologies.
  • Enhance videos with graphics, animations, and special effects, when necessary.
