We are looking for a general catering assistant to join our wee team.

You will be performing all activities relating to the daily running of a small takeaway food unit catering for both breakfast and lunch.

The role will involve cooking and serving cooked breakfast rolls and burgers.

We are open Monday to Saturday. Generally you will be required to work 2-4 days per week 9am to 2.30pm. Flexibility to cover holidays etc would be helpful.


Responsibilities:

• Food preparation and presentation
• Set up and break down catering unit
• Provide excellent service
• Taking customer orderers
• Provessing Payments
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or catering industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including Saturdays
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
