Research Officer in South Asian Ethnography
Salary from £39,313 to
£47,148 with potential to progress to
£50,614 pa inclusive of London Allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 3 years
This full-time position is to work with Dr Eleanor Power in the Department of Methodology on her Leverhulme-funded collaborative project on _'Reputational poverty traps' and the reproduction of social inequality in South Asia and the world_.
- have successfully completed or be close to completing a PhD in a relevant discipline by the post start date
- have experience in conducting qualitative fieldwork (for example, interviews or participant observation)
- have experience of or the ability to learn survey data collection and other structured data collection techniques
- have a commitment to collaborative, open, interdisciplinary research
