About Us:
We take pride in our exceptional, cutting-edge facilities that set a benchmark for many football clubs in our tier.

The Camping World Community Stadium, with a capacity of 1,980 spectators, offers a range of amenities, including:


Clubhouse:


Our splendid clubhouse is open seven days a week and can accommodate functions or meetings for up to 200 individuals.

It features complimentary parking, a fully-stocked bar, catering services, free Wi-Fi, and five large-screen TVs equipped for video conferencing. Additionally, we have two meeting rooms with video conferencing capabilities to meet various needs. You can also catch televised sports through Sky Sports and BT Sport.


Pitches:
Our primary pitch, installed by Velocity Sports, boasts a state-of-the-art 3G football surface. Its artificial nature ensures a consistently playable surface, making it impervious to rain-related postponements. Additionally, we offer the Jack Scrase Community Pitch, ideal for training or youth football. Both pitches are available for hire when not in use by our first team or youth squads.


Job details
Bar Staff working Monday and Wednesday 5pm-11:30pm and either a Saturday or Sunday each week from 9am - 7pm.

Additional shifts available on match days.

Some flexibility will be required outside of the football season.

Job Purpose:


Bar staff at a football club play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the club's bar facilities during events, matches, and regular opening hours.

They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patrons, maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the club.


Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to detail regarding preferences and special requests.
  • Serve beverages promptly, maintaining a high standard of service at all times.
  • Engage with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
Bar Operations

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, including beer, wine and spirits
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and surfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and alcohol licensing laws.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed, including beer barrels, bottles, mixers, and garnishes.
Cash Handling

  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, giving change, and operating a cash register or pointofsale system.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy in accounting.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and protocols to minimise discrepancies and losses.
Teamwork

  • Collaborate effectively with other bar staff and team members to maintain a cohesive and productive working environment.
  • Assist colleagues during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support the team as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management and fellow staff members to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Cleanliness and Maintenance

  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks, such as wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Ensure equipment, such as taps, refrigerators, and coffee machines, is cleaned and maintained according to schedule.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or bar environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including pouring techniques
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on occasion.
Working Conditions

  • The role may require standing for extended periods and lifting/moving heavy objects (such as barrels or cases of beverages).
  • Work environment can be fastpaced and noisy, particularly during peak times or events.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the job may involve evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to coincide with football matches and other events hosted by the club.
