Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop sourcing strategies
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions

Qualifications:

Relevant CIPS qualification is desirable
Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
Proficiency in using supply chain management software (such as SAP, MRP/ERP etc.) and Microsoft Office suites.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
