Main duties of the job:
This is an 18 month fixed term position within the London Breast Screening Administration Recovery Hub
Following the pause in routine Breast Screening activity during the COVID-19 pandemic lock down, the London Breast Screening Administration Hub based at Edgware Community Hospital is expanding to facilitate and assist the recovery of delay to Breast screening invitations in London.
The Hub is an innovative initiative providing centralized administration support for the six breast screening services in London; facilitating the taking of calls and rebooking of appointments for ladies invited for Breast Screening.
All admin officers are expected to develop the knowledge and ability to provide cover for key elements of other departmental work.
The specific elements to be covered by each Admin Officer will be specified by the Team Leader/Office manager who will also arrange appropriate training.
To deliver support services that are in line with the Trust and NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) guidelines and targets.

Experience:

- Experience of undertaking detailed, intensive work in a busy administrative environment
- Experience of using information technology such as Word and Excel in workrelated activities.
