Setting:
Mainstream Secondary School

Pay rate:
£75 - £90 per day (Depending on experience)

Working hours:08:30 - 16:00 (Term time only)

Active Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream Secondary school in Islington, who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with SEN children within the classroom.

This will start ASAP on a temp to perm basis. This is agreat opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to develop their career within a friendly and supportive environment. This is a reputable school, which can offer ongoing progression, training and development.

Duties and responsibilities

To work alongside children with mild behavioural needs (primarily ASD and ADHD) within the classroom.
To provide care, learning and support throughout the day.
To liase with the teacher and report on the progress of the child.
To maintain a calm, caring and understanding nature at all times.
To develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers.
