Greenview young people are looking for 2 Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our amazing staff team.

As part of our staff team, you will help provide individualised residential care packages for children and young people within our care.

As a Young Persons Support Worker, your day isn't always spent in Greenviews children's homewe offer a wide range of activities to our young people which enriches their childhood experiences.

whether it be going for a walk in the country side, cinema or the local theme park dependent on our young peoples hobbies and interests.

Your main duties and requirements would include, but not are not limited to:
Promoting, safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our young people

Establishing and maintaining positive and trusting professional relationships with our young people

Encouraging the development of the individual interests of our young people

A desire to learn, ideally having level 3 in child care

What do we need from you?

Experience of supporting young people who may be vulnerable is essential

Understanding and commitment to the role - including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays

Undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota

Participating in activities and ensuring we provide young people with a place they feel at home

Be capable of working on your own initiative

be a positive team player

A desire to engage, motivate and encourage the young people in our homes

Driving license essential
