Trainee Transport Coordinator.

They will consider applicants with previous administration or sector experience, or applicants who are prepared to learn on the job and build their experience.

Duties and responsibilities of the Trainee Transport Coordinator:
Initially, you will be working alongside the owner who will train and support you while you gain experience. As you develop, you will be responsible for planning and organising deliveries and collections all over UK and Europe.


Specific duties**:

• Arrange and confirm collection and delivery schedules with producers and distribution centres
• Plan optimum routes for multidrop collection and delivery
• Take responsibility for checking data and verification
• Act as key liaison between office and trucks and drivers

Skills and experience required for this Trainee Transport Coordinator role:

• Good IT / software skills
• Highly organised and structured
• Good written and facetoface communications skills including numeracy and English
• Good common sense

This role would be ideal for someone who has strong administration experience and an interest in the transport logistics/distribution sector.
