BTE TECHNICAL CLAIMS SPECIALIST - BRISTOL - £33K - £41K

My client is a leading name within general insurance and they are currently recruiting for a highly professional technical claims handlers to join their growing team in Bristol.

Reporting to the Technical Claims Manager, the BTE Technical Claims Specialist (TCS) will be primarily responsible for:

The efficient processing of High Net Worth, large loss and non-panel claims.
Working diligently with internal and external partners to either prevent claims becoming large losses or mitigating losses when they do. The ability to work with nonpanel solicitors and foresee the risks associated with particular cases is therefore vital.
Providing technical guidance to members of the department on a pro

- and reactive basis. Through doing so, the TCS works closely with the Team Leaders and others with the aim of minimising my clients exposure to unnecessary claims payments and other associatedcosts.

Developing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders including, but not limited to, internal colleagues, the insured and, solicitors.
Providing cover and support for Team Leaders may also be required.

Applications are invited from those with relevant industry experience. Backgrounds within other areas of financial services or the legal sector may also be considered.

All applicants must be highly organised, effective communicators and excellent team players. You must have strong IT skills and be adept at working well under pressure.

Our client have opportunities for senior claims professionals and salary will be dependent on experience.
