Job Purpose Statement
Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are...

You will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and oversight of the legal agreements for segregated client on-boarding's and rebate / distribution / share class agreements across the sales channels.

Ensuring that excellent relationships are maintainedwith all internal stakeholders at all times and that new client business and mandate change is implemented effectively and to the highest standards.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Responsibility to ensure that all documents, fee schedules and material obligations for mandates are approved and documented prior to mandate launch
  • Internal coordination of the negotiation and completion of legal agreements:
  • Review and analyse investment management agreements, investment guidelines, and other relevant schedules
  • Coordinate review and input from appropriate business areas to completethe approval of the documents
  • Coordinate all relevant documentation required for client onboarding across the business, marking up the legal documents accordingly
  • Effective communication to impacted business areas ensuring they review, acknowledge andsignoff their contractual obligations and respond in good time to facilitate orderly progress with clients
  • Documentation of issue resolution and status updates
  • Capturing, validation and agreement of pricing arrangements within documentation where rebatesare in place
  • Assisting with weekly workinprogress update meetings
  • Partner with Institutional Client Services team and key business leaders legal, compliance, sales, finance, portfolio managers, performance measurement, and operations to support the negotiation of mandate terms
  • Provide support to our Pooled Vehicle business through assistance with the coordination of rebate and distribution agreements
  • Produce management reporting on client onboarding
  • Assisting with internal/external Audit process
  • Participate in process improvement projects for the client onboarding including implementation of processes, ongoing monitoring (including development of solutions to automate monitoring process), and maintenance of books and records
  • Maintenance of internal audited processes such as eCAP document signoff and Mandate Database operational signoff
