Post 1:
Teaching Assistant Level 2:
Salary:
Grade 3, £9,472 - £9,790 per annum. £ £12.18 per hour
18 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
Post 2:
Play Worker:
Salary:
Grade 3, £2,631- £2,719 per annum. £ £12.18 per hour
5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
Required for as soon as possible
The Governors of St Wilfrid's Church of England Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work as SEND support, working with individual or groups of children with Special Educational Needs and Disability.
You will work closely with the SENDCo, class teacher and outside agencies to enable the child or children to access a personalised and relevant curriculum, maximising their learning and development.
You will play an active role in the life of our Outstanding school and be part of a hard-working and committed team.
- Have excellent basic skills
- Be able to deliver specific support to ensure that children with SEND make positive progress
- Be an experienced practitioner
- Be enthusiastic and hardworking
- Be flexible, well organised, patient and caring
- Be able to provide high quality specialist support to pupil learning
- Be able to support after school care across the school.
Our Kidz Klub wrap around care is open from 7.45am to 9.00am and 3.15pm to 6.00pm
The hours to be worked as a Play Worker will be confirmed at interview
