Health and Safety advisor
We are looking for an energetic, dynamic, proactive and supportive safety advisor with a full and rounded Environmental Health knowledge, for an embedded position at Heathrow Airport.
The role is largely focussed on the control and management of Fire safety risks, however also includes occupational, environmental, chemical, workplace safety risks.
Additionally a knowledge of food safety legislation is highly advantageous. Specific aviation knowledge is not required but an appreciation of the industry will be.
The embedded auditor will also support the property team in their understanding and management of risks and attend fire board meetings to deliver NSF ongoing progress and respond to questions from other Heathrow Teams.
This is a dynamic role, working with a huge range of stakeholders who may be employed from anywhere in the world.
NSF are looking for someone who has a range of experience and can work with all types of people in order to reach the common goal of promoting public health.
It is mandatory that a successful Criminal Records check can be provided along with full employment and residential history in order to obtain a Airside security pass.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to communicate with multi levels of the business and clients
- Wellhoned social skills, being able to establish quick relationships with clients whilst on site. Attention to detail, work with deadlines and able to work on his/her own as well as part of a team.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Full UK Driving License
- Living within travelling distance of Heathrow airport
