Finance Analyst (6 month FTC) immediate start | Manchester Airport (Hybrid) | £35,000 - £45,000, plus good pension and benefits | FMCG and Retail
This is a brilliant entry opportunity to join a global business and an industry leader in the UK.

The company operates in a rapidly growing industry and both manufactures and sells goods across a wide network of partners.

This role is based from ManchesterAirport but will also have involvement in the wider UK operation.

About the role

As Financial Analyst your responsibility will be to support the FBPs by providing key analysis as required for month end accounts budgets and forecasts and to take ownership of one or more business units.

Key responsibilities

Analysis of stock balances, stock consumption, variances
Analysis of margins, sales vs budget and forecast
Assist with the month end management accounts, including preparation of journals
Assist with variance analysis and month end commentary
Assist with the preparation of the balance sheets and supporting reconciliations for the portfolio
Prepare a monthly summary of revenue, with detail by customer
Take ownership of some P&L and balance sheets
Prepare forecasts and budgets and assist in preparation of profit reports and business presentations

Person profile

Part qualified accountant, Graduate or min 2 years in a fastpaced analytical role
Excellent Excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, macros and complex formulae
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines, adapt to ever changing requirements and have a cando attitude
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation and disciplined in your work
Able to work as part of a team or individually and show initiative to continually improve the business' reporting framework
Knowledge of SAP preferable

£35,000 - £45,000 (6 month FTC), plus good pension and benefits
