Our Defence Infrastructure business are strategic partners to the MOD delivering significant infrastructure programmes across several defence critical sites, including some of Europe's largest marine bases.
DESCRIPTION DU POSTE
Assystem are currently seeking the services of a Project Planner to support its growing Defence Infrastructure business
Main Duties:
- Responsible for planning production and management of overall schedule, both internally and externally.
- Coordination of work packages to schedule, tracking progress vs schedule, resource planning, coordination of subcontractors.
- Review and approval of subcontractor programmes.
- Interface with the stakeholders to identify and report: progress, scope changes, meeting actions, issues and risks.
- Input to proposals relating to manhour estimates and planning.
- Produce concise, accurate reports of project metrics including critical path analysis to the Project Management team.
- Primavera P6 to intermediate level (essential)
- Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Project
- Selfmotivated and able to work to deadlines without direction/supervision
- Good communicator able to provide a clear, concise and accurate summary of project progress, risks to the critical path and metrics
- Able to confidently engage with subcontractors and critically review the accuracy of subcontractor submissions
- Attention to detail
Security clearance:
Able to achieve Security Clearance to SC level
PROFIL
Qualifications:
- Degree preferred, or other equivalent qualification
- APM, Prince 2 or other project management qualifications would benefit
- Primavera P6 training
- Experience as project planner on NEC4 Target Cost (Option C) projects
- Major infrastructure design and build project background
- Experience of working in the Nuclear or Defence Industry
