Our client, a world leading aerospace company, requires a Design Concessions Approve to work within the Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET), they are looking to appoint a Lead Design Engineer who will be supporting the Wing Component Delivery Teams (CDTs).


  • Worked on Airbus programmes previously, such as 320, 330 or 350.
  • Ideally held concession approval before (T200)
  • Nonconformance experience would be desirable

Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for leading design investigations and formulating technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations ensuring that all Design, Airworthiness and safety requirements are met.
  • Liaise with other functions to enFsure a fully integrated design solution.
  • Operate as a lead design engineer and must hold design approval signatory in particular for manufacturing nonconformances (T200).
  • Act as a focal point in leading and providing guidance on technical issues and governance, and will support technical mentoring for engineering team members.
  • Reporting will be required on critical technical issues through functional managers where applicable
