Small Business Role Model (Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Harrow and Havering)
At Shaw Trust we're dedicated to building a future where rewarding employment is accessible for all.

Our Spark Change Programme plays a key role in helping young people to access what they need to make a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

As a Small Business Role Model, you will volunteer with NEET young people living in the London Boroughs of Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Harrow and Havering to provide insight on running a small business and inspire young people to set up their own businesses.

Through a mix of online and face-to-face events, we want you to:

Attend sessions to provide your insight and successes on setting up a business
Mentor young people with a business idea who are eager to start
Help get young people engaged in activities in the community
Assist by providing advice on marketing and financial planning
Play your part in getting young people into education, training, and employment

Boost your confidence, skills, and CV by supporting the Spark Change Programme.

If you can give us - 6 hours per week, we'll give you all the training and support you need to become a
Small Business Role Model.We can be very
flexible around parenting / caring / health / employment / education and any other commitments you have.

Some travel and other expenses may be covered too.
