Facebook designs, builds and operates one of the largest globally-distributed CDNs in the world.

As a Edge Content Delivery Specialist for Meta's Edge Network, you will have a unique opportunity to work in close partnership with both network engineers and Meta's Connectivity and Public Policy Teams to advance the strategic goals of the Company.

As a liaison between the Edge Production Infra Team and Policy, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional work with key internal partners to develop and roll out connectivity engagement strategies with Telco Partners and Government entities.


Edge Content Delivery Specialist Responsibilities:


  • Drive development of EMEA Edge network infrastructure strategies with Meta's Policy Teams
  • Perform analysis across data sources to understand forecasts, drive cross functional agreement, and create a global network strategy to meet business needs
  • Closely collaborating and coordinating with regulatory and litigation lawyers, product, public policy and communications teams on regulatory matters and policy strategies, external communication, and investigations
  • Lead internal partnerships across various functional teams and organizations to find optimal solutions to drive improvements in Edge infrastructure
  • Support the team by planning overall deliverables and resources, and navigating multiple projects across different countries in EMEA

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Ability to manage a large number and variety of high profile and strategic projects and navigate ambiguous legal and regulatory environments
  • Degree in a technology field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience managing large scale networks or network projects
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and networking planning
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editorial skills.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, and reporting results to various stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with highly technical engineering teams to solve open ended issues

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrable experience in policy related efforts and developing proactive/entrepreneurial projects.
  • Previous experience of advising on the practical implementation of new laws
