In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.


We now have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our team in Cwmbran The purpose of this role is to manage the efficient running of the CEO's office.

Acting as the eyes and ears of the CEO and wider Executive Team, being one-step ahead and demonstrating fantastic interpersonal and organisational skills.

With an ever-changing diary and workload, this role will require the post holder to have exceptional communication and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties;

  • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management and all associated arrangements to ensure the smooth running of scheduled and to optimum effectiveness of the CEO's time, to include agenda, briefing materials, packs, travel and refreshments
  • Preparation, including design where appropriate and production of presentations, correspondence and reports / background research as required
  • Preparing of meeting material as well as attending meetings to take the minutes / actions when required and following up prior to the next meeting
  • Maintaining control of CEO budget, process invoices and monthly expense claims for the CEO and their direct reports, ensuring the expenses policy is adhered at all times
  • Meeting and greeting of visitors and arrangement of catering as required
  • Skilled at planning and arranging complex travel to include booking travel to include flights, taxi and hotels for Executive Team and for others across the business as required
  • Responsible for the monthly preparation and presentation of the Business Performance Pack to include ensure all data is provided and the presentation is prepared
  • Support the communication teams with organising events to include SSGB roadshows and leadership conferences
  • Maintain Executive team electronic folders.

Job requirements:

Experience of working at board level

Ability to organise a daily workload by priorities

Be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment

French language skills desirable

Excellent IT skills - Microsoft office, PowerPoint, excel, word, outlook and Teams

Strong writing and proof-reading skills and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work autonomously with a flexible and enthusiastic approach prepared to get the work done that is required to ensure the business meets its business objectives
