Our client is a medium sized chartered accountancy practice who are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team based in Finchley Central.
Practice experience is a must, as is 3-5 years in a similar role. AAT qualification (or similar) would be an advantage also. They use Xero and Sage software for bookkeeping.Working within a team, on a portfolio of clients with responsibilities including the following:
- Completing client bookkeeping
- Processing sales and purchases invoices
- Bank & credit card reconciliations
- Posting month end and quarter end journals such as payroll, depreciation, accruals and prepayments
- Cashflows
- Liaising with clients
- Prepare VAT returns for different VAT schemes and submit VAT returns
Ideal Person:
- Ideally you will be AAT/ ACCA or similar finance qualification
- Bookkeeper experience within a practice
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Worked with a client portfolio
- Experience working on Xero and or Sage
Hours :
- Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
Annual holidays:
- 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.
