VACANCY - Senior Housing Options Officer

Location:
Stafford (Hybrid working)

Length:
ongoing

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm)

Pay:
£ per hour via Umbrella

Responsibilities of the role:

Manage, lead and direct the homelessness and housing advice service
Support the Lead Officers for Homelessness
Oversee case management
Deal with queries from Housing Options Officers
Ensure the Homelessness and Advice Team members receive training appropriate to their role and grade
To be aware of changed in good practise make proposals for service improvements where appropriate
Ensure that all documentation, procedures and accordance with current legislation
Carrying out one to ones
Deal with all correspondence and enquiries from customers, councillors and MPS etc
Prepare reports for Officers and Members as required
Keep uptodate on relevant council decisions, departmental instructions and undertake appropriate training and developing including the use of new technology
Maintain and upkeep of all homelessness files and IT systems

Essential experience/requirements:
