£14.2 per hour, Plus Company van and fuel card
Fulltime, Permanent 42.5hrs per week

About the role


We are now seeking a Chargehand to join our team; Delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.


As a Chargehand you will be out supporting residents with capital and planned maintenance works across our portfolio of properties, working from 'job' to 'job', on your planned route with a wide range of general repairs and maintenance task.

You'll need plenty of previous experience and a positive 'can do' attitude to excel in this role, meeting new people and delivering high standards of work and service are key.

Our office is based In Hersden and you'll be expected to cover the Thanet area.


Roles in Property Maintenance are physical in nature and may involve lifting and moving equipment, working at height, and working indoors and outdoors.


Role Criteria

  • Working knowledge of Maintenance and repairs to local government contracts
  • Understanding of Repairs & Maintenance contracts including PPP and SoR Contracts and the difference between them.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to Lead by example putting the reputation of the business first
  • Full UK driving license
  • The ability to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships.
