Tenancy Support Worker


Job Location:

Salary:
£11.50-£12.50ph


Shifts:
Temp to Perm - Days

As one of the largest social care agencies in the UK, Brook Street Social Care have some exciting short
- and long-term opportunities for Support Workers within homelessness services and hostels.


You will be working as part of a team to assist clients and staff with everyday tasks including:

  • Supporting in searching for a home / setting up tenancy.
  • Admin work around supporting with budgeting, rent, benefits and more.
  • Enhancing individual life skills.
  • Support to develop emotional wellbeing and coping strategies improving Mental Health and resilience
  • Record keeping.
  • Assist in arranging appointments with relevant professionals involved in the clients support.
  • Ensure a high quality of service delivery meeting KPI's and quality standards.

Experiences required are:


  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Able to travel around the region.
  • Computer literate.
  • Understanding and knowledge.
  • Knowledge and understanding of housing provision.
  • Knowledge of issues surrounding alcohol and substance misuse.
