NOVA HOME FASHION DESIGNER POSITION

We have a exciting position for a Homeware designer to join our newly appointed UK team in London to work on creating new product ranges and trend presentations for our Overseas team and UK Customers with particular focus on Kitchen/Dining, glass wear and other areas of Home Decor.

Working both independently and collaboratively with the sales and design teams on several projects, you will be developing trend-led designs to meet Customer product specifications and brand goals.

You will also developing company portfolio presentations, as well as supporting new product development for seasonal launches.


Duties for this Designer role:

• Researching upcoming trends, designs, and colours to be ahead of the competition and ensure the brand stays fresh and creative
• Editing designs, artworks and samples including photo revisions, colour correcting etc.
• Art working and preparing designs ready for production and print, including specifying colours, details and selecting materials.
• Assisting with the admin side of product development, including answering factory queries when required.
• Creating & amending product presentations for the company's internal teams and external Customers.
• Translating design briefs into CAD designs in line with brand goals and requirements.
• Ensuring designs are in line with both the brand and target customers
• Work with UK account manager on site and remotely on trend concepts and comps shops.
• Supporting the inhouse design team with design and art working requirements
• Create company look books adapting to target customer profiles.
• Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, supporting
• Getting involved in trade shows and meeting set up and support where required

Requirements for this Designer role:

• Experience & skills working in home ware hard goods essential
• Advanced Photoshop & CAD design.
• Experience working across a wide range of product materials such as glass, ceramics, wood and silicone.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Sharp attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects meeting tight deadlines
• Trendaware within the Home sector.
• Experience working with Fareast suppliers.
• Have set up to work from home and travel to London for meetings

Salary:
£21,941.21-£30,000.00 per year
