About us
The Wendy House Day Nursery "Developing The Mind Through Play."

  • Due to maternity leave we require a nursery assistant to join our established team
  • The age group will be toddlers i.e. 16 months2 years (up to 15 in the room on a 3:1 staff ratio )
  • This position is for 12 months but has the possibility to become a permenant post.
  • Duties include physical care of the children supervision at meal and sleep times working with the team to plan activities and play for the children and understand and work to all policies and procedures and best practice
  • Qualifications to a level 2 or 3 and past nursery work experience would be an advantage but as you will be assisting fully qualified nursery nurses full training can be given in house in liaison with a local college.
  • The position is for 38 hours over four days Mon-Thurs.
Extra hours may be requested to cover staff annual leave etc. if staff would like extra hours

£1,482.00-£1,622.00 per month

Parents as yet do not enter the nursery and staff wear masks in public parts of the nursery outside their set rooms i.e.

halls staff rooms etc
