As a Battery Team Member, you will support the development of multiple projects and offer hands-on assembly and production of low and high voltage battery cells and modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of Health and Safety and housekeeping are upheld in line with legislative, quality, and good working practices.
- Always ensuring compliance of PPE
- Maintaining the working area 5S standards
- To undertake 'safety man' activities during shifts
- Be aware of latest Safety/Quality Alerts and key points on each process
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining Quality standards within the Production area
- Maintaining accurate, traceable records
- Identify Quality issues as they arise and ensure escalation procedure of quality concerns is followed
- Support the Team Leader in any quality investigations
- Ensure all WIP Parts and finished goods are correctly always identified and kept in the correct locations
- Ensure all labels and paperwork is completed so that each item can be booked out if required
- Liaising with the Team Leader to ensure products are delivered on time and in accordance with all standards delivery
- Assembly of production items including manual assembly and semiautomated assembly processes
- Assembly of finished unit for delivery to customers
- Use of DC tooling and conventional tooling
- Safety checks and testing of battery packs
- Developing build process and build work instructions with Team Leader and other project members
- Liaising with Team Leader to deliver Battery packs to the agreed schedule
- Continually look for and suggest ways of improving the area/process with your Team Leader

Your Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a tier one automotive production environment would be desirable.
- Working to tacttimes.
- Full UK driving would be desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Health, Safety and Environment awareness.
- FLT license or experience would be desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding and fastpaced environment.
