The Burford Recruitment Company are proudly working in partnership with the highly successful team behind Burford's exciting new hospitality offering


We are seeking a talented and dynamic Finance Manager who will be responsible for the financial accountability of two hospitality venues and other business subsidiaries.

Starting at the crucial pre-opening stage, you will be responsible for setting up (with support) the full back of house accounts function and your role will go on to include the following;

  • Monthly and annual reports
  • Financial forecasting
  • Overseeing all company accounts
  • Managing cashflow and monitoring transactions
  • Reviewing internal processes and procedures
  • Establishing and implementing financial reporting system
  • Payroll
  • Invoicing
  • Developing budgets and financial planning
  • Ensuring the Company is compliant with laws and regulations

Qualifications and skills required:


  • Analytical and report writing skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Property management experience
  • Proactive and creative
  • Cashflow management
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Previous experience in hospitality sector (new openings advantageous)

Additional information:

Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week)

This is an office-based position with some flexibility for WFH once established in the role (1 day per week)


Salary:
£45,000 - £50,000.00 per year plus bonus
