A fantastic opportunity has become available at Llais Neath Port Talbot and Swansea for Advocacy Support Officer, Band 4, 30 hours per week.

This role is primary based in the Llais Neath Port Talbot and Swansea Region office. This is hybrid role, with both remote and office-based working.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable.

Main Duties of the job


The post holder will be the first point of contact to members of the public who wish to make a complaint/ raise concerns about any aspect of their NHS and social care, service or treatment.


The post holder will be an experienced administrator, providing comprehensive support to the Complaints Advocates including arranging meetings, and taking minutes and drafting paperwork.

The post holder will co-ordinate the work of the advocates, ensuring that cases are dealt with in a timely manner.


The post holder will also attend client a meetings to support the advocate by making a note of key issues which will later be used to prepare correspondence.

The post holder will be responsible for preparing regular reports for Llais by analysing data from multiple sources, ensuring that areas of concern are reported to the Regional Director for remedial action and to inform future work
