Hi It's Laura Wade here, Head of Customer Experience at MetaCompliance, and I am looking for someone with bags of potential, who is eager to kickstart their career in IT as a 1st Line Technical Support agent


This is not your average Technical Support role, you will need to be armed with IT knowledge and a natural passion for all things IT.

A little knowledge of IT and a big appetite for learning is what we're after.

Our bespoke software is built in-house so Level 1 is where, even our most senior members of the team started out.

We take your existing knowledge and passion for learning combined with a team of similarly driven individuals and help you build strong foundations for a _
real_ career in IT.


MetaCompliance provide a cloud-based solution which helps organisations keep their staff safe online, protect their critical information assets and avoid reputational damage.

We are passionate about helping employees engage with cyber security training to make sure they avoid the damaging effects of a data breach.

The job in two bullets:


Learning, learning and more learning. Not classroom type learning, you will be the first point of contact for our customer support tickets. Through triaging problems and the drive to follow problems through to solutions you will become an expert in our platform. You'll be learning about SaaS, Azure Cloud, SQL, MyCompliance, Customer Service, Communication and more, at times independent learning will be required but always rewarded.


Shares our passion for customer service. The aim of all the work being done is high levels of customer satisfaction. Working in a professional, business-to-business environment supporting some big-name brands you'll be the crucial first point of contact and face of MetaCompliance. Personal attributes that we want the person to have:

  • A real driven, self-learner
  • Great communication skills our customers are used to 5* treatment
  • Technical enough to understand basic IT but with a willingness to become an expert
  • Organised in their work
  • Relevant IT qualification (level 5 or above) and the ability to put this into practise
  • Innovative always on the lookout for ways to improve how things are done
  • Looking to make a difference in an organisation that appreciates unorthodox approaches

We're probably not looking for
Individuals put off by learning lots of new stuff, sometimes in their own time.


Someone who expects others to pick up the problems - don't have the solution, find it We practise "Extreme Ownership" in every role, in every aspect of our duties.

It's a bonus if you have(but don't let not having it put you off applying)

A little understanding of SQL (we're talking basic SELECT queries)
