The HR Function is built up with a structure with a team of Senior HR Business Partners, HR Advisors, HR Officers and the Recruitment Team.

This is to ensure we are able to continue to deliver a high-quality, responsive, professional service to support the Trust with its business-as-usual activity, as well as its ambitious transformation plans.


In this role we are looking for someone to support the HR Officers, managers and applicants through the recruitment and on-boarding processes within SABP.

Ensuring that recruitment and ESR processes are updated safely, accurately and within the service's key performance indicators

You will be required to complete a Level 3 CIPD HR Apprenticeship alongside your main day to day duties. You will be released 1 day per week to attend college.


This role does attract a Hybrid Working arrangement being based within the office at least 2 days a week and when requested by the Recruitment Team Leader or Recruitment Advisor.


  • Responsible for undertaking data cleansing of TRAC jobs records or ESR as requested by the Recruitment Team Leader or Recruitment Adviser
  • Assist with preplacement checks for honorary contracts as required
  • Provide assistant to HR Officers by initiating and progressing preemployment checks
  • Assist the Recruitment Team Leader and Recruitment Adviser in the review of processes, procedures and systems to support continuous service improvements, developing, recommending, initiating and implementing changes to promote the use of uptodate methods and technologies (where available to improve quality control, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • To ensure that our recruitment processes are streamlined and fit for purpose, with time to hire being as short as reasonably possible or in line with Trust KPI's
