We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Nurse/Professional to join our Corporate Nursing Workforce (CNW) team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT).

This exciting post covers an important portfolio of work to supporting the Head of Nursing in strategically leading and delivering the safe and sustainable staffing agenda across the organisation.

We are currently looking for a dynamic, proactive and self-motivated professional role model Lead Nurse/Professional.

This position will give you the opportunity impact and influence as you work across the organisation and wider health and care system.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a professional role model, and good organisational skills, the ability to work at pace and meet deadlines and use and understand relevant IT systems.

The Lead for Safe Staffing is a part of the Workforce and Education (W&E) team.

The W&E team is approximately 30 Whole Time Equivalent (WTE) staff and is made of of three sub teams; Pre-Registration Education and Work Based Learner Team, Chief Nurse Workforce (home to this role) and the Workforce and Education Hub.

The role is substantive and full-time (flexible and supportive employment will always be considered).

The main base for this role is St James Hospital Trust Head Quarters but the role will involve across site working and working from home.
