This is a hybrid working pattern role with 2/3 days being office-based.

Our client is a global leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business that's going through an exciting period of evolution.

They're currently seeking to bring a talented Sales Compensation Specialist into their organisation who has a highly commercial mindsetto lead the standardisation & improvement project of their Sales Compensation area.


ESSENTIAL DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As the GPO for Sales Compensation, standardization and process improvement across the team's activities and deliverables, to ensure accurate and timely Incentive Comp payments for circa 2,000 Sales payees.
  • Design, creation and implementation of the Sales Compensation Global Scorecard, dashboards, and stakeholder presentation materials. Automation and standardisation using Power BI, macros, streamlining processes.
  • Provide financial insights for business partnering, reporting, planning, and forecasting. Ensure reporting focus on our core principle of comparing Performance vs. Variable Compensation Payout at a proposition, market, component and role level. Provideoutlooks in advance of close to accommodate adjustments.
  • Support the Reporting Manager with SAM Leadership stakeholder reporting requirements for strategic decision making and scheme effectiveness. Build financial models using data from financial systems and other sources, to support business decisions and theexecution of strategic initiatives.
  • Ownership and continuous update of the Sales Compensation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Guidance document for teams and Audit and Compliance groups, reviewing our processes.
  • Work with strategic TCS partner to ensure governance and oversight of our processes to meet and exceed SLA/KPIs within our SOW.
  • Liaise with internal and external legal counsel to support the delivery of the Global Compensation Plan (GCP) for Sales and Account Management (SAM) and review all requirements of the annual scheme, covering the business from legal exposure.
  • Provide support for SOX compliance and adherence to internal controls as per group policies and the financial control framework. Adherence of Operational SOX Controls, and internal and external Sales Comp Audits.
  • Work collaboratively in the identification and support of continuous improvement activities, such as the IBM Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:


  • A certified Finance Professional (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) would be ideal, however not essential
  • A demonstrable track record of relevant sales compensation experience from a large, global business
  • Developed analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong process orientation, with ability to design robust reporting frameworks and project managements abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills for the creation and reverse engineering of complex spreadsheets, to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Advanced Power BI skills for dashboard reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, adapt to change and multitask in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent planning, administration and organization skills.
  • High level of initiative, innovation and drive.
  • Demonstrates people leadership skills
