Our office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub. Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working.

THE ROLE
This role will be an integral part of our global social media team.

You will be the lynch pin in day to day running of our channels and the go to person in the team when it comes to what's going out on our channels.

You will own long and short term social calendar planning and delivery, helping to ensure a detailed implementation of social support and execution of key social and cultural moments throughout the year.

We are looking for someone that loves social and can knows equally what creates engaging stories for our community, but can also use data lead insights to inform future content.

We want a self-starter who proactively loves sharing new ideas, and who has their finger on the pulse of all things social.

You will play a key collaborative role with the broader creative and marketing teams within FARFETCH and gain a deep understanding of how social trends, formats and behaviours impact marketing/communications efforts as well as contributing to the 360' business strategy to drive results.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Social content planning: Lead on planning and implementing an organised social calendar, with timely inputs from wider teams.
  • Collaborating closely with the creative and editorial team to manage and plan commercial and cultural social moments throughout the year as relevant.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop our visual flighting, our asset and copy briefs for each post.
  • Reporting: Lead on our weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, social media analysis and performance, and presenting learnings and insights to the wider business.
  • It will be the reporting lead, responsible for collating and sharing weekly and monthly insights to ensure we are constantly optimising and finding new ways to inspire our community
  • Community Management: Daytoday community management across key global platforms.
  • Publishing: Publishing across key social channels as required with meticulous attention to detail at all times.
  • Projects: Leading on commercial and cultural projects as relevant, working closely with wider teams including creative, editorial, wider marketing and external agencies.
  • Regional content planning: Liaising with regional teams in localizing of Social content and Global calendar
  • Innovation: Staying on top of current trends in social media and contributing to platform strategy evolutions and campaign development
  • Research: Supporting the social team with earlystage campaign prep and concepting research

WHO YOU ARE

  • The Social Media Executive must demonstrate an extensive knowledge of leading social media trends and techniques with an interest in creative innovation across key channels including Instagram and TikTok. An understanding of Asian social networks as a plus, but not mandatory.
  • A great communicator, knowing how to work well with others and building rapport quickly with different teams
  • An obsessive attention to detail and a track record of operating in a fastpaced environment and being able to deal with ambiguity is essential.
  • A team player who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm and time management is a must as are excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt, interpret, prioritise and deliver actions promptly with a sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work reactively with flexibility when required within a fastpaced environment
  • A keen interest in the fashion industry is strongly preferred
