Overview:
Aerospace Quality Inspector required near Burnley, Lancashire. To assist with the elimination of inspection backlog


Job Role
The quality inspector shall perform visual and dimensional inspections on various manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.

  • Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
  • The inspector will be required to report inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer.
  • Manually inspect products with handheld measurement tools such as Verniers, Height Gauges and Shadowgraphs.
  • Batch & First Off Inspection, Using First Principal Techniques where necessary.
  • Help manage and raise NCRs.
  • Understanding and interpretation of CMM Inspection Reports.
  • Assist with 8D investigations, 5s activities and delivering continuous improvement.

Requirements:


  • Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
