Description

The
Caretaker role includes the responsibility of being a key holder, ensuring the school environment is secure and sharing responsibility for the opening and closing of the premises.

It will also require the attendance out of hours when necessary in the event of an alarm call.


The
Caretaker will assist the School Business Manager in the management of school leasing, and will prepare the premises for out of school activities, such as holiday clubs, and liaising with other external contractors.


The
Caretaker will be part of the school's Health & Safety Team, and will report to the School Business Manager on all such matters.

Have the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team.

Demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills.

Be professional and approachable with all pupils, parents and staff.

Supportive staff, parents, leadership teams and governors.
