We are seeking enthusiastic people to join us who could fulfil this role and be part of an amazing team.

We are looking for an imaginative and creative Lead Practitioner who shares an enthusiasm for delivering play-based, memorable, and educational outdoor experiences for children, no matter the weather In fact, getting muddy is part of the job

  • Lead and inspire staff to plan quality experiences for all children in our care, which are fun, stimulating, and creative, where children can play, develop, and learn.
  • Work as an integral part of the senior management team, sharing good practice
  • Build and maintain strong, supportive, and respectful relationships with your team and parents to ensure individual children's needs to be met.
  • Interact on a professional level with all stakeholders and establish and maintain good relationships which will promote the development and effective delivery of the service.
  • Implement quality assurance strategies to reflect, evaluate and improve best practice for self, project, and team evaluation.
  • Contribute as part of a team to the provision of a quality early learning and childcare service for children aged 25 years and their families.
  • Work to the principles of the national care standards for early education and childcare and abide by the Code of Practice for Social Service Workers.
  • Promote and develop positive working relationships with parents, children and team members. Ensuring communication is clear and concise.
  • Keep up to date with latest practice, adhering to policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • To be reliable, hardworking, honest, with a good sense of humour ensuring a delivery of high quality of care and learning.
  • To be confident using digital technology to ensure all relevant information is uploaded, monitored and evaluated.

Required qualification:
BA Childhood Practice or Graduate PDA Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 9

Salary / Wage £13 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

Full-time available.
