Description

This is an opportunity to join the well-established, progressive department of ENT at HHFT.

The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, dynamic team, responsible for the management and treatment of ENT patients with the emphasis on multidisciplinary care.

The successful applicants will be expected to:
Deliver quality ENT services in the most effective way regularly benchmarking service to improve practice

Support the organisational aim of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation, making a positive contribution to the management and financial strategies

Enhance and provide professional leadership within the ENT department

Work to strengthen links with GP's and neighbouring Trusts

Continue to enhance and develop the elective ENT service

Provide teaching and training to trainee doctors and surgeons

Help meet hospital targets in particular RTT

Initiate and take part in regular clinical audit

Have an active role in research

A determination to meet or exceed the standards of the Patients' Charter, the NHS Plan, NICE Guidelines and CHI recommendations

A determination to be a successful provider in collaboration with others where relevant, of a range
