Financial Reporting Lead Analyst - £575 p/day (Umbrella) London - 9 months

Harvey Nash are currently supporting a Tier 1 Investment Bank with the requirement to hire a Financial Reporting Lead Analyst on a 9 month (initial) contract.

- £575 p/day (Umbrella)

9 months (potential to extend/ go perm)
London (3 days on site/ 2 remote)

Role Background:

You will be responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local Statutory Reporting, in coordinationwith the broader Financial Reporting Team.

Responsibilities:

Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (SEC CFTC, FCA/PRA, OCC, ONS etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
Assist in closing the books and subledgers, including initiating appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financial results at the end of accounting periods (month/quarter/yearend)
Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans
Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
Assist with overall governance and controls execution and documentation

Required Experience:

Strong experience as a Financial Reporting Analyst within a large/ complex Banking organisation.
Strong Analytical mindset
Familiarity with FinRep, IFRS and Accounts reporting
Global Project Management experience preferred
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Project management experience preferred
